It’s being kept alive with compatibility updates, but it’s obviously not making enough money for ik to completely rewrite it for auv3. There haven’t been any new instruments added in over two years. If it hasn’t happened by now, it’s not gonna. Ik has been “looking into” au SampleTank since auv3 was introduced in iOS 9. This is the same in LIVE mode (Accessed with the 8 squares in the upper left hand corner).
Press and hold to manually edit this or use this value as a tap-tempo option. When you launch SampleTank iOS you'll see the BPM default of "120" in the upper right hand corner.
We appreciate it and I can tell you the team is looking into this. The biggest little disappointing app to ever not fill its potential. I haven't used it in a long time though, so I'm also curious as to how to change the BPM, i )K said: It's an amazing app chock full of really excellent sounds. I will comment that I wish IK Multimedia would turn it into an AU someday.
